Chippenham is a growing club with a local reputation for friendliness, hockey played in a good spirit and commitment to the future.

Our club prides itself on having our own Astroturf pitch next to a new state of the art clubhouse. No other club in the area can boast this. Chippenham has remained a traditional, sociable club and we enjoy entertaining our visitors.

We run 3 Men's league sides with an occasional 4th, There is a Vets side who have a number of friendly fixtures during the year plus entry in the Veterans Cup. A new development is that of a “Badgers” team who are entered into a league. This is where we are able to give competitive games to the junior players who cannot play in the Gerrard League. We also run 2 highly successful summer league teams. We also run a mixed team and 4 ladies teams including a ladies veterans team.

Another difference is that we run a pay as you play subscription scheme. There is a small up front registration charge for the league and then a slightly increased match fee. We found that with a lot of members from the armed forces and many members with families unable to commit for a whole season that this was a better way to charge

Subs £15 registration then £12 pay as you play. Concessions £6 (for life members, juniors, U16 etc.)
Training - Thursday nights 7.30 to 9.00pm. FREE!
Juniors train Sundays 9.45 to 11.15am up to year 6, 11.15 to 12.45pm for year 6 and above 1st session free then £14 per "term"
Facilities - Astroturf pitch 100m from Clubhouse,Small practice astro as well.
